Jet Machinery (Powermatic McMinnville, Tenn) 15”width, up to five and a half inches. Thick material. Dust hood has a 4” round discharge exhaust for dust hose pickup. This planer has a very smooth finished product, determined by the steel backed straight carbide cutting surfaces. I have used these blades for years because the cut so clean. These blades cost $250 alone as the machine comes with HSS blades. I include the HSS blades with the machine. The KPI is virtually zero, but up close angled viewing will show a small amount. My experience is a small amount of g finish sanding finishes the wood visibly flat.i can run the machine and show results as it. Is still powered up. And you can cut a deeper, wider board than a table top machine every hour.its a cast iron heavy duty tool.
