Vintage Ludwig Combo drumset in great condition. The Combo model was made for a few years in the late 70's as a lower cost alternative to the more expensive Classic series, by eliminating the bottom heads and coating the 4-ply shells with the Granitone sealer. This set was made with the large Classic lugs, Classic tom mounts and the solid 1/2" curved spurs. As with the Classic series, the 22" bass drum comes with 10 lugs and beautiful wooden hoops with inlays. The tom sizes are the standard 12, 13 & 16" with brand new Remo heads.
The color is called Butcherblock and all seams are tight. This set is in great original condition with no extra holes. This set has the true Ludwig vintage vibe, making it great for studio or live performances. The 4 drum shell kit can be purchased for $575.00 As an option, I have a 14" Yamaha birch snare drum that matches very well with the set, a Ludwig Speed King pedal, Ludwig hi-hat stand, Ludwig snare drum stand, Ludwig cymbal stand and a stool available for an extra $175.00.
