Barn Worker Wanted (Independent Contractor) - Immediate opening
- Experience with horses - must be able to walk them to and from stalls for turn out.
- Self motivated
- Must have reliable transportation and cell phone
- Able and willing to follow instruction
- Show up when scheduled
- Clean/maintain stalls, water buckets, feeders, raking aisle
- Some repair work - horse barn, fences, weed whacking and yard cleanup.
- Must be able to lift 40+ lbs. repeatedly - i.e. muck buckets, grain, hay bales, etc.
- Willingness to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Honest
- Common sense a must, (i.e. something falls, pick it up, see something amiss? speak up)
- Non smoker preferred
Hours available - subject to change
Mornings: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm or
Evenings: 4:00pm - 7:00pm
2 - 3 days per week - possibly more. Pay based on experience and ability. (apx. $11.00 - $17.00 pr hr.)
