Original work by southwestern Native American artist, Larry Yazzie. The sculpture is titled “Grandmother’s Precious Gift” (1989) by Larry Yazzie. It is a monumental carved stone figure made of black steatite (soapstone), standing approximately 60 inches tall, 16.5 inches wide, and 5 inches deep, with an estimated weight of 700-900 pounds. It is signed and dated.
