Up for sale is this large antique brass Steam Locomotive train bell. I was told that it came off an antique steam locomotive. It is stamped on the top of the bell "493" on one side and with a 1 stamped over top a 2 on the other side. The universal joint on the ringer reads "TRANS DEVICES" on one side and "INDIANAPOLIS" on the other side. It is in fair to good shape. Please note that the ringer and universal joint are rusty. The are scratches and dings in the bell itself. Please see the pictures and judge for yourself. The bell itself is approximately 17 1/2" in diameter, 55" in circumference and 18" tall. The handle is 37" long. The handle is 37" long. Cash payment can be made at the time of pick up. If interested, please call or text me at 330-five0six-3191. Thanks, Jerry.
